RETURN & REFUND POLICY


Overview

We stand behind everything in the BDS Company Store. If something is not right we want to make it right. Please read our return policy carefully before submitting a request.

Please note that Brighter Day Services fulfills orders in two ways — items shipped directly by BDS and items fulfilled and shipped by our print partner Printify. Return eligibility and processes may differ slightly depending on how your item was fulfilled.


Eligible Items for Return

The following items are eligible for return within 21 days of the confirmed delivery date:

  • Apparel and accessories — unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached
  • Drinkware and accessories — unused and in original packaging
  • Yard signs, car magnets, and non-personalized items — unused and undamaged

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:

  • Cleaning supply kits — all kit sales are final. Due to the nature of the products, opened or unopened kits cannot be returned
  • Replacement and refill supply items — all sales final
  • Personalized or custom printed items — any item with a name, custom text, or unique customization cannot be returned
  • Items marked final sale at time of purchase

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return your item must be:

  • Unworn, unused, and in the same condition you received it
  • In original packaging where applicable
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase — your order confirmation email

Items that are worn, washed, damaged, or missing original packaging will not be accepted.


How to Submit a Return Request

  1. Email companystore@brighterdayservcs.com within 21 days of your confirmed delivery date
  2. Include your order number, the item you are returning, and the reason for your return
  3. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  4. Do not ship anything back without receiving return instructions first — unauthorized returns will not be accepted

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method as Brighter Day Services is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit. UPS is our preferred carrier for direct shipment returns.

For Printify fulfilled items return shipping instructions will be provided when your return is approved. Process and carrier may vary.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected you will be notified by email. If approved your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days in one of two ways — your choice:

  • Original payment method — refunded back to the card or payment method used at checkout
  • Store credit — issued as a BDS Company Store credit for future use

Shipping charges from the original order are non-refundable.


Exchanges

We accept exchanges for the same item in a different size or color subject to availability. To request an exchange follow the same process as a return and note in your email that you would like an exchange rather than a refund.

Please note that exchanges on Printify fulfilled items are subject to Printify's production availability. We will confirm availability before processing your exchange.


Defective or Damaged Items

Direct Shipments: If you receive an item that is defective or damaged please contact us at companystore@brighterdayservcs.com within 5 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will replace the item or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you including return shipping.

Printify Fulfilled Items: If your Printify fulfilled item arrives defective, damaged, or with a print quality issue please contact us at companystore@brighterdayservcs.com within 5 days of delivery with photos. We will work with Printify on your behalf to arrange a reprint or full resolution at no additional cost to you.
